Thailand is very fortunate where golf can be played all 12 months of the year with peak season being from November - February. During these months it is a little cooler and is the dry season.
Yes, absolutely. The rainy season generally starts at the end of April through to the end of October. While it can rain heavily, it is usually for a very short period of time and clears quickly. Also, it tends to rain in the evening so if you keep tee times in the morning then it will be ok.
Famous for its culinary scene, Thailand offers a wide array of food, both spicy and non spicy. Those who struggle with spice need not worry, many options to choose from!
In a word, yes! Bangkok traffic is notoriously busy and traffic jams occur daily in the city centre, especially around rush hours. Getting around the city for most people will take the form of either walking, using the underground system (MRT) or the Skytrain (BTS). All of our hotel partners are in strategic locations making it easy to get around.
For the most part yes, all staff in hotels, restaurants and golf courses will have a good understanding of English and be able to communicate with you clearly. When heading outside of Bangkok it becomes a bit more common for the level of English to drop but everyone will do there best to try and communicate with you.
Caddie tip is absolutely at the discretion of the player but it is compulsory. Our recommendation is that 1,000 THB should be given to a good caddie.
We are regular visitors to Thailand and Prestige Golf Asia made it the reason why. Golf course bookings, picking the best hotels to suit our needs, restaurant reservations, chauffeur with luxury transport, Colin and his team are highly recommended!
Our Scotland trip was fantastic and Colin took care of every aspect. An amazing experience on great courses and we will definitely book again!
I had a wonderful time in Thailand with the help of Pro Colin who took care of me for 7 days. 6 rounds of golf on beautiful courses, Thai Country is my favourite, plus extra coaching made it one of the best golfing experiences of my life and my handicap significantly reduced.
I am a repeat customer and for good reason! I’ve been to Scotland, Vietnam, Thailand and even South Africa with Prestige Golf Asia, thoroughly enjoyed every minute, especially not having to worry about choosing golf courses or hotels, even restaurant bookings are all taken care of. Will be back soon for more!
